How to listen to the radio

  1. Take a personal radio with a battery, switch it on and set the frequency to 80.0 MHz.
  2. Listen at night: from 17:45 to 06:00 on the in-game clock. Three bunkers are on air at once and the messages repeat.
  3. Each message is ten digits: six digits of coordinates, then four digits of door code. One digit is five beeps. A short one lasts about 0.5 s, a long one about 1.5 s.
  4. Press the buttons in the decoder in the same order. Made a mistake? Press Back.
  5. Go to the bunker by the coordinates and enter the access code at the entrance. The code works for that night only.

A tip from players: turn off music and effects in the sound settings, the signal is easier to hear.

FAQ

How many digits are in the radio message?

Ten: six digits of coordinates and four digits of door code. Each digit is five beeps, short and long.

How do I tell a short beep from a long one?

A long beep is about three times longer. By the server settings a short beep lasts 0.5 s and a long one 1.5 s.

Do I need to learn Morse code?

No. Count the beeps in fives and press short or long. The decoder builds the digit for you.

Is the door code always the same?

No: a new night brings other bunkers and codes, and yesterday's code opens nothing.

Why did the decoder not find my bunker?

Most often a beep was missed or doubled. Listen to the repeat and enter the coordinates again. The decoder allows a difference of one grid cell.

Does this work on other servers?

The principle is the same, but servers can change the schedule, the number of active bunkers and the code length. Bunker positions here come from the Vuiko server settings.
